Shaped by hand from natural terracotta clay, this pitcher-style vase has a rounded body, a gently pinched pouring lip and a single loop handle. It is left unglazed, so the warm earthy colour and the faint throwing lines of the clay stay visible.
At 22 cm tall it suits a sideboard, kitchen shelf or dining table, and looks best with dried pampas, wheat or olive stems. As each piece is made by hand, shape, tone and surface marks vary slightly.
Unglazed terracotta is porous and may seep water, so it is best for dried or artificial arrangements. For fresh flowers, place a glass jar inside as a liner.
